Karalee, the long-time Victoria country retreat of the late master jeweller Gary Bradley, has been sold.

The 13 hectare Hesket property in the Macedon Ranges, with panoramic view to Hanging Rock and the Cobaw Ranges, was bought by Bradley back in 1987.

They paid $250,000 for the estate with a late 1970s home.

It was extended upstairs to create a retreat and master bedroom.

A swimming pool sits off the four bedroom homestead.

There's also a separate studio where Bradley worked for a number of years.

Keatings agent Sandi Barry-Mueller had a $1.4 million reserve for its October 26 auction when it sold at $1.49 million.

Bradley's former Hardware Lane workshop has also been listed for sale.
