Oroton boss Ross Lane has sold his Manly home to expatriate Andrew Hoffman, whose family develops retirement lifestyle villages.

Lane secured $15.25 million, after initially seeking a record-breaking $16 million to $18 million.

He bought the home in 2016 from his brother Tom.

The only privately owned absolute beachfront property in Manly, the home sits on 590 square metres of landscaped gardens on Little Manly Beach.

It has four levels, connected by an internal lift, four bedrooms, a home theatre, office and wine cellar. Jake Rowe at Rowe Partners secured the sale.
