No sale for Blocktagon, South Yarra penthouse

The winning penthouse from the Block’s 2015 series failed to sell at weekend auction.
The penthouse apartment at 6/1a Affleck Street, South Yarra was auctioned by The Agency.
Auctioneer Peter Kakos made a vendor bid of $2.1 million seeking a $50,000 rise, Domain reported.
The 240 sqm property was listed with $2.3 million to $2.45 million hopes.
It now has a $2,445,000 price.
The top-floor apartment was transformed by Dean and Shay Paine who took the top prize and $750,000 cash in 2015.
It sold for $2.3 million to a regular investor in The Block’s properties.
The investor sold it in 2018 for $2.365 million.
