Set to spend more time in Hollywood, Melbourne entertainment industry power couple Jason Schepisi and Katherine McIntosh are selling their Yarra Ranges retreat.

Schepisi is the Netflix producer son of director Fred Schepisi, and McIntosh, daughter of news presenter Sue McIntosh, whose credits include directing The Real Housewives of Melbourne.

They paid $940,000 for the Dixons Creek home in 2016.

They secured approval for a new build, but have decided to sell the four hectare property.

It comes after Schepisi's eight-part series A Man Called Horse was picked up by Netflix.

Schepisi, who is also an architect, has pretty much rebuilt the exisiting home that they bought three years ago.

Renovated in a mid-century style, the home with timber exterior and new concrete flooring has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Fletchers Yarra Ranges agent Richard Wines has a $1.27 million to $1.39 million guide.

Alongside being the executive producer of his new show, Schepisi will spend some time on architecture projects while in Los Angeles.
