Retiring Panther Sam McKendry lists Penrith investment

The retiring Penrith Panther prop Sam McKendry and his wife, Kirsten, have listed their Emu Plains investment property.

McKendry, who is quitting after three ACL reconstructions in as many years, bought the spacious 1970s home for $525,000 in 2014.

There is a guide of $659,000 to $709,000 after the recent update of the three-bedroom home which was last advertised for rent at $480 a week.

Brad Drew at Property Central Penrith has scheduled a November 2 auction.

The suburb has a $650,000 median for three bedroom homes, according to realestate.com.au, based on 30 sales in the past year.

The pair, who married in 2015, reside on acreage at Wallacia with their two children.

Signed to Penrith in 2006, he made his first grade debut at 18 in 2008.
