UK-bound George Burgess lists incomplete Randwick apartment
Suspended South Sydney Rabbitohs star George Burgess and wife Joanna have opted to list their intended Randwick apartment, just as it’s being completed.
Former teammate-turned-NG Farah Real Estate agent Beau Champion is marketing the apartment, which is at the bare bones with luxury fitout still being installed.
The listing suggests the vendor seeks a sale on completion by the developer of the much-delayed project.
The garden double-storey apartment in the Epoque, a boutique block of eight designed by MHNDU, was bought off the plan in early 2016, then reconfigured during the construction phase when the possibility of more space arose.
Back then it was just Burgess and his partner, the budding interior designer Joanna King.
Now the couple have married and have a family of three, the latest born just weeks ago. And Burgess has signed a three-year deal with Wigan Warriors which will take the family back to the UK.
The three-bedroom apartment has 125 square metres of internal space and 270 square metres of gardens.

Over recent times Burgess has offloaded properties in Little Bay and Chifley.
The Little Bay apartment was sold for $1.35 million, having been bought off the plan in 2015.
The family’s company title Chifley home secured $1.6 million.
