Western Sydney Wanderers striker and the recently awarded club player of the year Brendon Santalab has sold the first home he bought as a 19 year old.

It's a single level weatherboard in Unanderra near Wollongong that cost him $190,000 in 2002.

The two bedroom home on 550 square metres fetched $601,500 through Right Choice Real Estate.

It sold in 22 days, much less of the 66 day median time on market in Unanderra.

The Wollongong born forward bought the home when he was playing at Sydney United after a short stint beginning his career at Parramatta Power.

He spent two years at Sydney FC from 2007 and joined Western Sydney Wanderers in 2013, winning the AFC Champions League in 2014, the first Australian club to do so.
