Set in one of Melbourne’s greenest precincts, Cultivate rises above Heidelberg West bringing 186 one, two and three bedroom residences across 9 and 12 floors.
Subtly evolved into four elements, design is classic and engaging. On the ground level, a series of retail and dining spaces connect the streetscape, activating the local area and providing two private secure entries for residents.
Open weave mesh elements define the mid-levels, reflecting natural light during the day and illuminated from within at night. Generous balconies offer advantaged panoramic views of the leafy neighbourhood surroundings.
Upper level balconies step into the views with glass balustrades while an exclusive residents rooftop terrace basks in uninterrupted vistas of Melbourne’s city skyline.
Premium security technology underpins entry to all areas including remote access underground facilities for car and bicycle parking and additional storage.
With architecture designed by the acclaimed DKO Architecture, the buildings allow natural light to wash over interiors that are deliberately large in size and amenity through thoughtful and considerate design.
Interiors are refreshing and function with sophisticated detail, spacious open living spaces and balconies that extend to connect you to the glorious outdoors seamlessly.
Natural textures and warming timbers, an organic aesthetic with polished surfaces and walls of glazing offer a welcoming touch to each apartment.
Some apartments feature individual study zones, walk-in linen closets and concealed sliding doors to some bedrooms and bathrooms to enhance light and flexible living options.
A modern palette of cool charcoal and shades of grey, paired with the driftwood tones of timber flooring or alternatively a Scandinavian inspired, neutral palette of ash and light oak contrasting with rich brown timber floorboards give you the chance to personalise your apartment to your taste with these exclusive offerings.
Open plan kitchens use subtle ceiling bulkheads and refined island benches to define a high performance entertainer’s zone. Smeg and Fisher & Paykel team up to offer a selection of premium appliances, integrated within full height joinery that brings ample amounts of storage.
Bathrooms use natural stone textures, and a modern mosaic feature to frame cubed cabinetry components. The ceramic counter basin sits atop a floating timber vanity and the frameless glass shower increases a sense of dimension. Storage continues to be an important consideration with a mirrored wall cabinet, vanity drawers and a tall bathroom cupboard to keep the space clutter free.
Be immersed by the views across the city on your communal rooftop, offering more than just panoramic vistas with courtyards, private sanctuary spaces, BBQ dining pavilions and landscaped gardens.
Located in Heidelberg West, Cultivate stands across Bell St Mall, one of the highlight activity centres for the area, featuring a pedestrian mall filled with specialty stores and cafes, an Aldi, medical clinic and other services.
Melbourne Polytechnic is also within walking distance, offering an array of educational courses and programs. Take your bike or walk along the Darebin Creek Trail which provides a leafy vista all the way into the CBD and back out to the Northern Suburbs.
In just a short drive, the Austin Hospital, Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre and the quirky cafes, restaurants and boutique stores that line Burgundy Street are of easy access as well as Heidelberg Station.
Cultivate is developed by Kincaid and is expected for completion in late 2020.

My partner and I signed for off the plan back in 2017, receiving multiple start dates since, which construction has still not started. We were contacted back in March 2020 asking us to extend our sunset clause so they could secure financing and planned to start July-August 2020, which we refused to do. Construction never went ahead during that time. Back in August 2020 I noticed that they were advertising apartments for sale again, after receiving no correspondence that construction had begun, I left some reviews of my experience with the project. Kincaid Projects contacted me in September 2020, saying that construction may go ahead in January 2021, and that I should consider extending my sunset clause. They said they would call me back in a week's time, , and they never did. The Kincaid again seem to be advertising the apartments for sale in November 2020. I will attempt to contact Kincaid again to find out what is happening in terms of the project.
My partner and I have very little confidence that they will begin construction in January 2021, especially given all the earlier start dates we were informed on.
