As the Chinese usher in the Year of the Rooster, it may be timely to look afresh at property investing in Australia in light of some new rules around foreign investments, especially because Australia remains a favourite with Chinese investors.

The rooster is said to be the most motivated animal in the Chinese zodiac. Historically and symbolically, the rooster’s crowing acted as a wake up call to start work.

The Chinese New Year starting on January 28 could well be another year of flourishing property investing in Australia for the cashed up Chinese investor.
