Got a pic from ground level the other day:
At 254m to the roof, Prima/Pearl will be the second tallest (to roof) in Melbourne when completed.
Interesting that Southbank will end up with both the tallest building, that being Eureka and the second tallest, Prima/Pearl.
Wonder how long to go before Southbank has the highest population density in Australia as well?
The details (crosses forming star patterns) in the panels are a nice surprise.
They are seen in the second last photo above.
Getting there slowly
It gets interesting from here on as we soon get to see the true shape of the tower.
here comes the tower :)
I'ts a pity that they don't paint the numbers on the cores anymore, I used to enjoy seeing the level that the're up to.
i.e. Eureka under construction:
ahhh pete, memories...
Hi guys, just new here and I'd like to compliment you on the great photos. I'll try and add a few of my own in the coming months.
^^ good stuff
Couple of iphone shots from today showing the new glass going up on the lower levels:
The glass looks to be of high quality, just the way I like it!
For sure, the glass is looking to be what I was hoping for
Love the illuminated sign. I'll watch out for it on the late news when they have the skyline as a backdrop.
Great photos Glenn!
The core is just flying up now!
Thanks for the photos Ryan - some very unusual angles, and a great effort. A lot of work, obviously.
onwards and upwards
Amazing photo update. Thanks Glenn and Ryan

Oh my, that glass is mint..
