Most of Central Equity buildings are plain and looks devoid of quality. However, most of their projects seem to be built.

The reason they get built is due to the fact they are cheap and lack anything that will add to their cost.

Do you ever look at marketing material and just ask...what? Ie. "Multi Award Winners"
No clarification which awards they're referring to. Certainly no Australian Architecture Awards from what I know. Even with a tight budget it's not that hard to differentiate a design. Or is it planning approval that's ultimately to blame?

no awards for external design thats for sure. they occury a certain segment of the market and have a successful formula, be thankful their designs in recent years have improved dramatically. 2011 Victorian Apartment Project of the Year was one of their awards.

Would be nice if the podium had an apartment wrap at least, but so glad there will be some retail finally along that stretch. This plus the cafe going in at Wrap should help being a little bit of life to the area at least.
