Portland House

8-10 Collins Street

Architect Lloyd Tayler designed this wonderfully elaborate town house in 1872 for Henry ‘Money’ Miller as a wedding present for his daughter and her husband Dr. Aubrey Brown, and is one of the few remaining examples of the town houses built for the medical profession that once characterized the are.

Great to sketch.
