Here are a few projects missing from Urban's project database in Frankston.

The Frankston Hospital development is expected to drive growth in the future. The Frankston Hospital Multi Deck Car Park Stage 2 Project was completed in 2017. While the $15 million Teaching and Research Centre in partnership with Monash University will begin construction in February 2019. The actual extension of the hospital will commence in 2019 also.

Olivers Hill breakwater and $38-$80 million marina 300-berth "safe harbour" with 300 wet berths, 400 dry berths, at least 30 public wet berths. A new base for the Coast Guard at Oliver's Hil is also expected. The “safe boat refuge” would provide safety for small recreation craft in heavy weather, and a secure permanent mooring in 2-3 metres depth for the Frankston Volunteer Coast Guard rescue vessel, and potentially police boats. KBR Commercial will design a concept plan by July at the latest and the council construction tender will then go out to market. Construction is planned to begin by May 2019. The safe boat harbour will include a breakwater with access for emergency vehicles, plus lighting and CCTV.

2019 $62 million redevelopment of Karingal Hub Shopping Centre with MORE shops, restaurants and a ‘town centre’.
The revamp, ticked off by Frankston Council last week, includes an extra 762 carparking spaces; a new two-level restaurant/ cafe; a facelift of existing shops and the relocation of the bus interchange to improve traffic flow and pedestrian access.
The redevelopment by owners ISPT Super Property, who also own Westfield Doncaster and Barkly Square Brunswick, will create more than 200 jobs during construction and 300 full and parttime jobs.
