Do you think this means construction will start some time soon? Or are they just clearing the site?

just clearance for now but it probably won't be too far off sales

If the site is an old industrial site ? It will be a long time before building commences as they will probably need to remove huge amounts of soil, decontamination is a major requirement these days.

looks to have commenced, a handful of underground fuel tanks have been lifted out for removal..and all that goes with it

They'll probably just cap the site in concrete and not decontaminate.

Have to remove tanks though but really not a major issue unless they have basement carparking.

I like what they are proposing in the podium, that is to reference the low-rise skyline of the surrounding residential, commercial and industrial area. Looks great. Clever indeed, if that is what they were trying to achieve.

new design

Again? After most of it is sold? This is at least the 4th design from memory.

Oh dear, looks like the have rammed an extra tower (possibly 2, hard to tell from that pic) in front of the original 4, which means the open space/walkway that was meant to be in the middle is probably gone. And that podium is a worry. Looks very stark with not much setback.

The whole thing is starting to look significantly different to the previous plan, and not in a good way...

6 towers were always on the cards

It's not new. They were always the designs.
