I'm actually sad when I see what we could have achieved here. Beautiful, sleek design which fairly explodes at street level, WOW!

Think the question needs to be directly asked of the minister's office - why the hell did he allow this iconic opportunity pass!?

^^ I'm not usually one to agree with you, but you may well be onto something here. This is a very disappointing and lazy proposal.

It seems that Lend Lease have put much of their focus on their showpiece in Sydney, which although thst is definitely in a great location, more should be expected from this prime spot in our city too.

They have also tried to do things in Vic Harbour but it also seems to come across as cheap and cheerful for the most part.

Hideous, just like the rest of the crap that has been built around there .. unlike the 'never built' proposal up top of this page which would have been stunning and appeared to pay great respect to the historic Rail Shed with it's distance and angled away design ..

Just making another political & corporate dollar out of Docklands with a cheap & thoughtless design ..

Bilby - is this what you mean by planning controls for high-rise development ? I sure hope so because to me it is ..

LL won't try too hard on this site. Its directed most of its interest up in Sydney really.

Vic Harbour and this site mainly come across as functional and uninspiring.
