Heh. This looks ace. But I like ALL the concrete-y things (that 95% of y'all don't), so there's no surprise there.

I love Nicholas' photo slides comparison. Spot on!

I agree. Seeing this come to life I actually like it. It's not flashy with a curvaceous glass facade but there is something simple about it and it still makes a statement - reminds me of something you'd see in Sweden (maybe the build-a-blocks just remind me of ikea lol). I think it will look even better with Aurora filling the landscape behind it.

It's growing on me. Nice to see something other than glass.

What a load of rubbish.

At least it isn't strata, can be pulled down in 10 years.

If there is a blank wall on the la Trobe side I'll be very disappointed.

If I was an architect I'd be ashamed to have my name associated with this rubbish.

Yikes!
I bet whoever approved this regrets doing so.

I fail to see what the issue is with this building. The horizontals on the side walls creating the "pods" are really good. Compare it to the shiteful vertical strips of concrete Empire presents in the background, this is a good enough exercise in geometry to justify its existence.

It will always look terrible.

Paint won't save it.
