Much love for this one, I know, but I find it drab. It looks great at night.. the angles really paint a cool picture with light and reflections.. and elements look nice up close.. but from any distance during the day it just looks like a dull building that tried to be interesting but failed and ended up looking a bit daft.

The rotating effect up the tower doesn't work because a) it was done in giant segments and not level-by-level; and b) it's still a great big rectangle. Both of those things make sense if you're the developer... this is not a premium building with the budget to match... but, aesthetically, it's mainly a failure to my eyes, and I don't see it aging well.

I agree that it's just a rectangle and wouldn't have much of a budget. But I see the end result as a positive because of how it's turned out despite those restrictions, rather than a negative. This should really only be judged on the facade and I think that's a winner.

I was driving along Citilink a few weeks ago (during the day) and couldn't help but be impressed by the lighting effect from that distance and with a moving sight line. It really made me wish this and Vision traded locations.

Agreed about switching this and Vision. At least if we switch Vision it's less visible.

If they manage to paint the exposed floor plate all the way up, it'll bring the look of this one up to scratch. The black looks way better than exposed concrete.

Some renders have it black all the way up, some don't

I'm pretty sure they've painted the edges above the 'podium' a faint grey.

Light-house is most impressive when you are standing across the street staring up at it, with the angle of the tower facing you, you can appreciate the ripples and the afternoon sun shining off the purple panels.

I have seen many tourists stop to admire, and snap photos for their instagram!
