Looks good, the design gives you a sense of place.

Just wish it was twice as tall.

Completely agree with regards to the height. I am happy it is Under Construction. At least, it is getting built!

I actually like the height and the design on this one. I remember that the original proposal was going to a lot taller with a different graphic on the facade but the developers had to change their approach based on financial circumstances I assume.

Glad to see this development making progress. Its been on the drawing board for a long time and I thought it was never going to get built.

Great asset for the city.

From Trove

An ad from 4/1/1890, so I would say that sign has been up there from as early as the 1880s.

Dr King's Australian Medical Institute was at the corner of Russell Street and Flinders Lane.

Gradually beginning to look forward to this - it took time to get over my disappointment about the classical bas relief wall being eliminated.

I presently still feel the discus thrower on the facade is a little indistinct - a bit like William Barack at Swanston Square up at CUB - but I hadn't seen that rather nice and classical sculpture render of the entrance of this before. It will still be a building with a feature element and signature to it I guess.

^^ Good progress.

Will be interesting to see how they fill all that space.

Not sure if I'm correct but I count another 20 floors to go for Abode.

If that's the case it'll look ENORMOUS from that intersection!
