I've been wondering about this one myself.

They will need tenents signed up before they start construction. Another CBD tower that has not been able to compete against Docklands.

Bank of Melbourne were considering this one. Guess they are holding out.

I was under the impression that the state government was taking up space in the development.

I like this proposal so I hope it gets up sooner than later.

Weren't Apple supposed to take the two lower ground floors as their flagship Melbourne development?

I cannot believe that Apple has yet to find a store. Empoium was a missed opportunity for them for sure.
Collins seems a bit far away from the main retail hub for a flagship CBD store.

Apple want to be on Collins. They are waiting for the right opportunity and they've been quite creative in trying to make things happen for them without luck yet.

The current proposal was fine imo. I hope they don't mess around too much with it.

eeerrrr...damn. remind me why we had to lose a charming 1960 OPSM building for a shorter and blander podium version of it? The Tower also looks a lot less interesting now :/

and where's the heritage listed shopfront of Le Louvre, is that building to be a hollowed out entrance way now?

A stunning office tower it could've been. This podium sucks.
