^ Yes the ground floor was also an intact at the rear and that heritage interior has been lost, the upper floors were bland office space though without anything original.

I've had pretty good word that this tower is only 195 metres, there were possibilities to go higher but didn't happen in the end.
Where have people got the 204m from?

Bates Smart's official advertsiting say 195m. I asked Bates Smart personally and they confirmed 195. Happy to be proven wrong, but they were adamant only 195m.

Hopeless photo, but the rear laneway was closed off today, so had to settle for a small gap in the Collins Street fencing. It looks as though they've finished the perimeter reinforcing and have started excavating.

From rear of site. There has been quite a bit of excavation at the Collins Street end, and a gantry is going up in William Street, outside the NAB building, which I suppose is related to 466.
