I used to live in Box Hill, crazy to see it bulk up so much in such a short span of time. This is a huge site to build on and will look fantastic when finished.

^^ Massive podium I love what's going on in Box Hill becomig a highrise hub exactly the densification & urbanization of the burbs we need if Melbourne is to grow as it is.

If only Doncaster Hill had grown upwards the same way we'd have a nice twin skyline happening but the lack of decent PT has kinda stymied that into the lowrise that's actually happening there think. Doncaster Rail anyone ???

Wow, this will look awesome. If there is a suburb that is ripe for this development it's box hill. There isn't a ton of heritage and the council seems to encourage the height. Bring it on.
I just wish the ATO didn't turn out like such a boundary hugging monster, try crossing the street there sometime and you'll see what I mean.

No photo but noticed today heading up Station St that Sky One is about to get started, site offices being craned in this afternoon, they're located on a gantry above the bus ramp leading into Box Hill Central. The display suite entrance was fenced off and workers were about, so I think the display is not long for this world.

It's massive from all angles now. I find the back a better outcome than the front

Getting big now, Sky One (UC as of this week) will rise behind the pine trees to the right of screen.

It looks great driving west through Box Hill on Whitehorse Road, as it appears to rise in middle of the road before the road bends North slightly just before the tram terminus. No picture sadly.

Edit: Streetview shows it now actually: https://goo.gl/maps/BgQewo6Hpw72

I was in a CBD building the other day and this was blocking out the ATO tower in Box Hill on the skyline. Must have had just the right angle fro that to occur.

its a big boy.
