Williamstown industrial site sold for $2.9 million

A large Williamstown industrial site has sold under the hammer for $2.9 million.

The 7,081 sqm site at 64 Tennyson Street was sold to a developer.

It has a combined 241 sqm frontage to Fink Street, Chelmsford Street and Tennyson Street.

Fitzroys agents Chris Kombi and James Gregson handled the auction campaign, in conjunction with Grita Angelucci and Sam Nadde of Property Au.

The site was offered with opportunities for investors, owner occupiers and developers, according to Chris Kombi.

It receveieced more than 60 enquiries throughout the campaign.

Gregson said the property is located in an established and highly sought after industrial precinct in Melbourne’s inner west, with the owner planning to divide the site into around 30 office/warehouse buildings.
