Americans Jonathan and Beth Hankins found what they thought to be a bargain foreclosed in the US state of Oregon for $36,000. 

Soon after, their two-year-old son developed health ailments, and the couple discovered they had unknowingly purchased a drug lab and the house was contaminated by methamphetamine, as the Huffington Post noted.
