A vacant office building at Noosa Head on the Sunshine Coast has sold for $1.8 million. The 1980s-constructed building, which is on a site of about 1,012 square metres, is located at 24 Lanyana Way, and was purchased by a local investor.

It is understood the purchaser plans to refurbish the building and lease it as individual tenancies up to 850 square metres. It previously had a long standing tenant. John Petralia and David Brinkley of Ray White Commercial Noosa handled the sale on behalf of an interstate investor.

“The property had become run down and a lot of the old internal fit out was left behind by the previous tenant,” said Petralia. “We contacted local charity groups who took away a lot of the items and sold them off and this helped our vendor as the property was now much cleaner.”
