The future of global retailing and Australia’s appeal: David White of Deloitte

In its Global Powers of Retailing 2013 report, Deloitte highlights that Australia has seen a significant influx of overseas retailers over the past two or three years and this trend “looks set to continue”.

According to White, Australia’s advanced economy and stable political and legislative structures makes it an attractive destination for global retailers and also acts as a springboard into the potentially highly lucrative growth economies in Asia.
