The former South Melbourne headquarters of the Royal College of General Practitioners sold with vacant possession for $9.9 million two years ago has been resold for $14.35 million through Lemon Baxter.

The 2012 buyers, a joint venture between Guy Nelson’s Alpha Partners and the JAK Investment Group, refurbished and re-leased the then vacant building.

Nelson was formerly Macquarie’s head of property, and JAK is owned by Nelson’s former colleagues Adam Jane and Daniel Knights.

The four level Palmerston Crescent property with 2,794 square metre space had been the home of the medicos for 18 years.

The Royal College of General Practitioners, which relocated to East Melbourne, had been there since 1982.
