Rydges Hotel Group is set to spend $11 million to create an entire level of New York-inspired dining at its South Bank hotel in Brisbane.

Designed by Base Architects in collaboration with LA interior designer Tracy Beckham, the 2,887-square-metre space will have an elevated dining area, a lounge plus poolside bar and eatery. It will be named in honour of the Roman god of indulgence, Bacchus. The Grey and Glenelg street frontages is set to get one of the design industry’s newest must haves: a vertical garden.
