Retail building approvals on the rise led by NSW: Chart of the week

Retail development activity is likely to increase over the next few years, according to M3 Property Strategists.

Over the past three years, the number of building approvals has increased to above long-term averages.

Last year, Victoria had $1.6 billion of retail building approvals – the highest of any state – with NSW approvals rising noticeably.
