The Real Estate Institute of Queensland is taking on the Australia-wide property listing websites by including state property listings on its website for the first time.

Only members of the institute are able to list their properties on the revamped reiq.com, with listings limited to Queensland.

The website features about 49,000 property listings, including commercial properties and businesses for sale on https://propertysearch.reiq.com.au

It is in the second state real estate institute in the space of a month to launch a dedicated state property listings website for its members, following the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia partnering with West Australian newspaper group to launch www.westrealestate.com.au.

The WA website is owned by West Australian newspapers, with content and listings provided by the REIWA and its members.
