Quest Apartment Hotels has opened Quest Mounts Bay Road in central Perth, the second from Quest in Perth's CBD. It features 71 fully self-contained studio and one-bedroom apartments.

Quest East Perth will open in September.

Zed Sanjana, chief executive officer of Quest said Western Australia is experiencing a tourism resurgence, along with significant growth across the education and agricultural sectors.

“The Australian headquarters of many global companies are located in the City of Perth due to its proximity to key international markets. Strong growth is expected to continue over the next decade as major industries strengthen and diversify, thereby expanding the workforce in the CBD," he said.

“State Government investment in WA is strong, with an ongoing commitment to several major redevelopment projects, including the $1 billion Gateway WA project improving access to and from the Perth Airport precinct, the $2 billion Fiona Stanley Hospital and the new $1.2 billion Perth Children’s Hospital.”

Quest Mounts Bay Road franchisee Don Goode said the new property is ideally located for both the corporate and leisure guest, within walking distance of Mount Hospital, the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Esplanade Station, Elizabeth Quay, the Perth Arena, and the State Theatre.
