A Queen Anne-style residence in Hawthorn is on the market with $4 million plus hopes.

The five-bedroom home at 27 Kinkora Road Hawthorn boasts art nouveau features restored by master craftsman Derek Marvelley.

The c1907 residence includes original formal rooms and recently renovated living areas.

Boasting bay windows, polished timber floors and an arched hallway, the 1,393-square-metre property also includes an outdoor entertaining area and pool.

IT industry figured Carmelo Zampaglione and his wife, Gina, have owned the Queen Anne residence for 15 years.

The couple bought the property from former footballer Barry Richardson in 1998 for $1.15 million.

The property is due to go under the hammer on August 24 through James Tostevin of Marshall White.

The most expensive sale in the street was for an Italianate mansion at 39 Kinkora Road, which sold at auction in 2007 for $5.205 million.

The median house price in Hawthorn is $1,222,500, a 2.7% change in five years, according to RP Data.
