A retail shop anchored by Home Timber & Hardware at Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast has sold to a local investor for $1.6 million on a six percent yield.

The 211 David Low freehold property has a building area of 973 sqm on a 1880 sqm site.

Peregian Beach is a seaside residential and tourist area of the Sunshine Coast 130 km north of Brisbane and close to Noosa Heads.

The property was sold on behalf of a local business operator by selling agents Christine Freney of Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast.

Freney said the vendors have operated the Home Timber & Hardware store for more than 25 years.

“They will continue to run the hardware business after selling the freehold,” she said.

“The site is now secured by a 5 + 5 + 5 year lease.”
