Office space in Hellenic House, the Sydney CBD building that has been the centre of Greek culture for nearly six decades, is being offered for lease.

The property at 251 - 253 Elizabeth Street opposite Museum Station is being marketed by Ray White Commercial’s John Skufris on behalf of the Hellenic Club.

The leasing offer follows the Hellenic Club opening its new Beta bar and gallery at 238 - 240 Castlereagh Street.

“There are currently areas from 100 sqm to 200 sqm available including the building's top floor with original timber floors and never to be built out east-facing Hyde Park views,” said Skufris.

The six-storey Hellenic House building was officially opened on October 19, 1959, by the then NSW Premier JJ Cahill.

The Hellenic Club, which was first formed in 1924, promotes Greek culture and currently offers sponsorship, donations and assistance to a range of organisations and individuals.
