No stopping Melbourne's new listings: RP Data

Melbourne continues to be the tearaway city when it comes to new listings, although there's been a flurry of new vendors test the Darwin market. Melbourne's new listings total 7918 while 290 represents a similiar boost in the top end. The only other city with an annual increase in total listings over the past year is Adelaide's mild increase, according to RP Data.

These results are calculated across properties that have been advertised for sale over the past 28 days.

A new listing is one which has not been advertised for sale over the past six months, total listings include new listings and properties which have been previously advertised.
