the junction Club in Moonee Ponds has been sold to the Moonee Valley Racing Club for more than $3 million.

The newly-redevelopment hotel features 80 gaming machines, sports bar, TAB facility, bistro and is near the Puckle Street retail strip.

The Victorian Harness Racing Club will continue to operate from their Melton headquarters.

CBRE’s Scott Callow and Will Connolly negotiated the sale.

Mr Callow said several high profile clubs competed for the acquisition of the business, which is a rare offering in the current market.
