Mirvac's nine new projects have Sydney emphasis
Property group Mirvac's first-half operating profit rose by 15.5% to $230 million.
Its residential division holds $1.3 billion of exchanged pre-sales contracts with some 2,200 lots to be delivered in the full 2015 year.
The report noted adding dwelling activity and housing finance was up in all four major states and "monetary policy continues to be effective".
"Above historical average population growth in NSW and broad-based economic strength supports long pipeline of required dwellings in Sydney," chief executive Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz reported.
Around 73% of its nine new projects totalling 3,350 lots have been across Sydney.
