Melbourne sits second most expensive place to purchase a property: CoreLogic

Melbourne is the second highest expensive place to purchase a private treaty property, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.
The property data firm says that the average house in Melbourne costs around $700,000 while a unit costs around $520,000.
This is in contrast to Sydney, which is the most expensive with $940,000 for houses and $740,000 for units.
A two bedroom house at 22 The Crescent, Kensington (above) has been sold for $725,000.
Similarly a two bedroom house at 56 Palmer Street, Collingwood (below) has been sold for $715,000.
