The Make-A-Wish Foundation children's charity has listed its Richmond office for 16 October auction.

It is a double-storey office at 383 Swan Street in Richmond, with 565 square metre office space on a 405 square metre block opposite Burnley train station.

The inner east holding is tipped to sell for about $3 million through Colliers International.

It includes six car parks.

Make-A-Wish is moving to a larger Richmond rented premises.

They bought the property in 2004 for $1.35 million.

In July, another inner city charity, the Smith Family, sold its Collingwood offices to property developers to also become a tenant.
