A beachfront landholding in Perth's North Fremantle has been scooped up by a private developer for $15.4 million.

Located on Leighton Beach, the 4,015 sqm site has been earmarked to form part of a mixed-use urban village.

CBRE’s Ben Younger and Michael Milne brokered the sale for LandCorp via a public Offers to Purchase invited campaign.

“Located within one of Perth’s most exclusive beachfront enclaves, this landholding was the very last remaining site held by LandCorp, as part of the state government’s re-zoning and normalisation of Leighton Beach for urban renewal,” Younger said.

The site may be developed into a five to six-level apartment complex similar to adjacent apartment projects completed by Mirvac and Brookfield Multiplex, added Milne.
