A Korean-themed ice cream group D21 has opened its first Sydney store after signing a lease for the Liverpool Street shopfront.

D21 will take up the former car park and storage unit at 76 - 78 Liverpool Street, Sydney in a deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial South Sydney’s John Skufris.

He said whilst we are in the middle of winter, consumer appetite for ice creams and sorbets remains strong.

"This was a great value add opportunity for the owners in comparison to parking and storage rents for similar space," he said.

"We were recently approached by another client nearby specifically for dessert bar operators as part of their tenant mix within a renowned hotel."

D21 has taken out a three- year lease at initial gross rental of approximately $3,275 per sqm per annum.
