Kern Group have leased a 580sqm office space on level 23 at 300 Queen Street in Brisbane's CBD ahead of their relocation from 215 Adelaide Street.

They are paying $685sqm and have signed on for a total of five years, plus incentives.

JLL director of office leasing in Queensland, James Montague said the fringe-to-city trend was growing.

“The Kern Group successfully used the sublease market as an opportunity to re-enter the Brisbane CBD market with the long term strategy to establish a permanent headquarters in an A-Grade building in the heart of Brisbane," he said.

“Over the past twelve months we have seen a growing number of near-city based companies move back into the Brisbane CBD, taking advantage of the current market climate."
