Kathy MacDermott appointed Property Council of Australia COO

The Property Council of Australia has appointed Kathy MacDermott as its chief operating officer.
MacDermott has been the Property Council’s executive director for Queensland for the past four years.
The Property Council chief executive Ken Morrison made the announcement last week.
Queensland chief operating officer Chris Mountford will replace MacDermott as state executive director.
Her career included 11 years as a journalist for the Australian Financial Review.
The announcement follows recent appointments of new executive directors in South Australia and Tasmania.
