A shop in the fashionable and arty shopping strip of Sydney’s Woollahra is up for lease.

Located at 104 Queen Street, the shop has strong street presence and is next to leading brands such as Sotheby’s, MJ Bale, Jo Malone etc.

The 200 sqm property boasts high ceilings and a light-filled external courtyard.

The property lends itself to an array of uses, or even flagship retail, according to its description on Ray White’s website.

The listing agents are Ben Vaughan and Michael Aubusson of Ray White.

“We have had strong interest from Paul Smith, Aesop, Mother of Pear and Sons Trading,” said Ben Vaughan.

The property last traded for $5,060,000 in 2010 when it was acquired by Wyelba Pty Ltd, a company run by Alisdair MacLeod and Prudence Murdoch, who bought it from art collector David Roche through Vaughan.

“At that time it housed the much-famed Martyn Cook Antiques and renowned interior designer Thomas Hamel,” said Vaughan.
