Golden Age boss Jeff Xu has sold his Melbourne laneway building for $14.5 million.

McKillop House, at 12-14 McKillop Street between Bourke Street and Little Collins Street, was bought by the Mantzis family, operators of Sleepeezee Bedding and other furniture businesses.

It comprises a freestanding, five level Manhattan-style building over 1706 square metres featuring bespoke floors of 250 square metres and large industrial style windows.

The 361 square metre corner site has 22 metres frontage.

Xu paid $11.5 million for the property in September 2015.
