Gold Coast residential property discounting now at 10.9%, a 16-month low: APM 'chill chart'

Vendors on the Gold Coast are forced to offer average discounts of 10.9% off their original price hopes to secure sales, according to APM's latest "chill chart".

This is down from a peak average discount of 14.5% in August 2011 but considerable above the recent low or 6.9% in April 2010, according to Australian Property Monitors analyst Clinton McNabb.
