Former Salvation Army site in Melbourne's Glenroy fetches $1.7 million at auction

A former Salvation Army site in Melbourne’s northern suburb of Glenroy has sold at auction for $1,705,000, well above expectations.

The property at 132-134 Cardinal Road comprises a solid brick building with frontage to Cardinal Road.

The 1,393 sqm site is located within a favourable neighbourhood residential zone.

The buyer was an interstate owner occupier and the selling price translated to a land rate of $1,223.97 sqm and building rate of $3,486 sqm. 

The selling agent was Anthony Carbone of CVA.
