Darwin trumps Sydney again with dearest capital city private treaty median price: RP Data

At $612,500, Darwin again trumped Sydney for the dearest weekly median house price, based on RP Data analysis in the week ending June 9.

Sydney's $510,000 unit median was the week's dearest capital for unit sales.

Private treaty sales represent around 85% of all dwelling sales across the country.

The statistics are calculated across houses and units sold over themost recent four week period.

Records without a valid sale price have been excluded from the analysis and median prices are withheld for cities wherefewer than ten sales have been recorded.
