Club Crocodile Hotel, the resort in Airlie Beach, has been sold to Singaporean group Well Smart Investment Holdings.

Owning the Mantra Terrace Hotel in Brisbane and the Ibis Budget Hotel Melbourne, Club Crocodile is the group's third hotel.

The sale was brokered by PRD Airlie Beach.

The 3.5-star Club Crocodile Resort was sold by David Kingston's Ocean Hotels for between $8 million and $9 million.

The resort features 161 rooms on a large freehold site close to the beach front and Abell Point Marina.

Resorts in Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays have recently had high occupancy levels.
