Channel Nine is selling two empty shell apartments in the Gatwick Hotel, the site of the 2018 series of The Block.

Both stripped two-bedroom units are on the ground floor.

They are for sale with proposed floor plans.

The smaller of the two, apartment G01, has 128 square metres of floor space.

It has price expectations of about $800,000.

Neighbouring G02 is bigger, with 138 square metres of floor space along with a 46-metre outdoor area.

It has price expectations of $900,000.

The former boarding house, built in 1937, had previously belonged to sisters Rose Banks and Yvette Kelly.

They used it to provide accommodation for needy residents, however after developing its “hotel hell” reputation, they sold the building to Channel 9 in 2017 for $10 million.

St Kilda’s median apartment price is $512,000, while the median house price is $1.32 million.
