CBRE's Tom Southern becomes executive chairman as Ray Pittman appointed CEO

CBRE has appointed of Ray Pittman (pictured above left) as president and chief executive officer of the firm’s Pacific operations.

In tandem, CBRE’s long-standing Pacific president and chief executive officer Tom Southern (pictured above right), has been promoted to a new role as executive chairman, Pacific with overall responsibility for the region. He will concentrate on strategy, recruitment and clients.

Pittman is its Colorado, US senior managing director, one of the 52,000 global staff.

He has 28 years' experience in commercial real estate, both in agency and development, having initially joined CBRE in 1985

He had his own Pittman Development Group before rejoining CBRE in 2011.
